Can Sneezing Leading To Chest Pain Cause A Heart Attack?

This morning I sneezed and it felt like my heart jumped out my chest, very painful, and I had to catch my breath and keep from panicking, and it went away after like 30 seconds. Did I have a slight heart attack and controlled it, can a person stop themselves from having such a thing? And what should I do?

Hi,

Sneezing can cause severe chest pain but not because of the heart, but because of the big effort done by the chest muscles and that is what causes this pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.

Regards,
