Can Soy Formula Lead To Acid Reflux In Infants?

My daughter is 2.5 months old and was diagnosed with acid reflux. The doctor recommended adding cereal to her bottles so we did that it was going well for a little bit but now she is back to throwing up again. I m just wondering what the next step would be? And also she is on soy formula......is a formula switch the answer?

At 10 weeks of age it is normal if baby spit ups as it takes time to develop esophageal spincture which is valve like structure connects esophagus with stomach. Dont add cereals in her bottles as at such tender age it is difficult to digest.For 1st 4 months of life stick to breast milk.Weaning started after that
