Last summer, I dried a bunch of spicy peppers from my garden. Four months ago, I took those spicy peppers and put them in the food processor to make a spice we could use on our food. When taking the lid off, I inhaled. I proceeded to have a coughing fit for about 30 minutes. I was coughing so hard I thought I was going to pass out. Ever since then, I have had a chronic cough and a hoarse voice, even losing my voice several times (I am a teacher so this is really frustrating!). Is it possible that the spicy pepper particles are the cause of my chronic cough? If so, what can I do to make the cough go away?
Hi Good morning teacher. Actually your cough may be due more spicy food stuffs only. Kindly avoid more spicy hereafter. Drink hot water often. Take voice rest if possible. Dont speak very loudly...do salt water gargling I hope there is no change in voice so nothing much to worry. Thank you.
