Can Spotting Affect Pregnancy Tests?

i have had 2 very very light periods followed by the constant feeling of butterflies in my stomach. i took a test today and im spotting light pink now for the past 2 days the test came up negative . is it possible for me to be pregnant and it came up negative b.c i am spotting and that can effect the test ?

Hi,welcome to healthcare magic forum. i understand your problem. As you told you are having little bleeding ,so it is nothing but your period. So once you are having bleeding then no chance of pregnancy. Because of that only your test came negative. Wait & watch for 1-2 days.It will get confirmed. No need to worry. Good luck.
