Can Steroid Shots Cause Any Side Effects?

I am experiencing swelling and pain in my left jaw... just below ear. I ve recently had chronic bronchitis, My oxygen levels were 88-89 last Friday... my doctor sent me home with a nebulizer, and a prescription of Azithromycin, and I had 2 shots of steroids. Could the swelling be a reaction to the steroids? Or should I go in to ER, I suffer from heart disease, I ve had Six bypasses ...and several stents in my past.

Swelling on a very especific location and pain it's not common as reaction to use of steroids for your chronic bronchitis, some other causes shoul be investigated, not need to go to ER inmediatly.
