Can Steroid Shots Delay The Onset Of Menses Cycle?

I got a steroid shot on June 16th and I was supposed to start my period on July 5th... still nothing now on the 10th... could the shot have effected that? Because I have been having protected sex only and since I had my second child in September my periods have started to be 2-3 days late in the past couple of months anyway... now it s 5 days late...
