Can Stopped Intake Of Doxycycline Cause Continued Long Periods?

i have had implanon for a year now with only one 3 day period. i was prescribed doxycycline for acne treatment and after 2 days dosage my period started. i stopped taking the doxycycline and have now had my period for 11 days and it hasnt stopped yet. do i need to see a doctor?
