Can Stopping Of Hash Smoking Cause Any Problem For ACL Reconstruction?

Hi, I: am going under a surgery for my ACL Reconstruction on april 28th. I will be given general anesthesia. I smoke hash regularly and planning to quit until my survery is over. it is more then a week from now do u think I should be afaid of anything as I am on the heavy side and weight over 110kgs and 6feet 4inch height. please advice I am really very worried and I cannot share it with the doctor as he is a very close friend of my father. PLEASE suggest

Hi,

Although you must have been operated by now, I still would like to tell you that stopping hash will not create any problems in your surgery. Rather continuing with it may interfere with your healing. So I would suggest that you remain abstinent at least for a few more weeks.
