Can Stress Cause An Increase In Blood Sugar Levels?
Hello I m a diabetic, I have been on an off of MetForim , my A1C was 6.6 I was off medicine for 2 years , Would being under stress make your sugar go up . I ve been riding my Bike for 60 minutes, and doing strength exercises. Watching my diet . What else can I do , I pushing 60 real close !!!! Just don t want to end up saying I should have done better when it s to late
Yes stress can lead to diabetes precipitation. Try to avoid stress by yoga and meditation. Daily 1 hour active exercise can be done like cycling, brisk walking or swimming. Carbohydrate-rich diet taken less. Reduce weight with lifestyle measure if you are obese.
Don't stop medication by your own. Consult physician or diabetologist for examination and follow his/her advise.
