Can stress cause bruising? I've been under a lot of stress of late and have an unexplained large bruise behind the knee. I had a similar bruise same area approx 2 years ago after an argument with a family member. I am 38 years old and in good condition.

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. I suggest you not to worry much. I would like to suggest you that the bruise, if it is a real bruise, which involves muscle tissues, then it may not be of stress. There could be some other reason. Therefore, please consult a general practitioner. At least the bruise is not mind related.

Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications.
Good luck.
