Can Stress Cause Vaginal Spotting Or Abnormal PAP Smear?

Hi, I am getting married in one week and am feeling stressed. I have had spotting today (my period finished about 1 - 2 weeks ago). I had my pap smear test result back and it was not cleared due to some inflamation. I have been told not to worry, I have to go back for a pap smear in a year, and it will probably come back clear next time. Should I be concerned or is it just because I am stressed?
