I have a constant stuffy nose, chesty cough that make's me heeve when i cough too hard, buzzing ear's and i feel as though my throat is closing up and i can't breath as good. I think it maybe my hayfever, or i have allergies? which i take tablets for.
I don't go out that much, and i don't sleep until early hours in the morning.. could i have depression also?
Lastnight, i woke up as though i had been holding my breath or something... it really scared me. Please help!

Hello,

You have allergic bronchitis as well as stress-induced dyspnea as per history. For respiratory check-up the following workup needed.
-Auscultation
-Complete blood count (CBC) with absolute eosinophil count (AEC)
-Chest x-ray
-Spirometry if needed
If CBC shows eosinophilia then montelukast plus fexofenadine tablet course prescribed for ten to fifteen days. For anxiety, fluoxetine course can prescribe and behavioral counseling useful. Consult pulmonologist for examination and discuss your case.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami
