Can Sudden Abstinence From Alcohol Cause Kidney Pain And High BP?

Hello, I have always been a heavy drinker but as of 4 months ago I went thru a very stressful situation which left me psychologically broken and blood pressure super high. I haven t drank for 2 days but now my kidneyes in lower back are in lots of pain. Is this something that should go away or should I head to the ER? I m pretty worried! PLEASE HELP!

Hi
You need to get to the ER since you're at risk for alcohol withdrawal and DT's and those can be fatal
