Can Swallowing Staples Cause Any Problem?

I swallowed 2 closed staples on accident... I really dont have the money to go to the doctor and check... should I be worried? It was a closed staple, the sharp sides were closed in towards the middle. I am experiencing no pain. Please answer, and thank you so much.

hello, thanks for your query, closed or open staples , obstructing in throat , reaching wind pipe instead of food pipe can lead to fatal condition. do one xray- neck and chest to rule out the level of obstruction. visit an ent surgeon for endoscopy. hope I have answeed your query. all the best. take care.
