Can Swelling In Gastrocnemius Suggest A Muscle Tear?

About an hour after a workout in the gym I developed a painful swelling above the bifurcation of Gastrocnemious. The lump is inflamed and very painful to touch.there is a tender area with bruising immediately below the lump. Is this a muscle tear perhaps?
