Can Taking Erythromycin Cause Swelling Under Eye ?
I have been put on erythromycin eth succ. 400mg. 1tablet four times a day. This is for a a crusty sore by the side of my left nostril and a swollen patch on the left cheek. Went on this yesterday and today I woke up with a swollen l eyelid and swelling under the eye. The swelling under the eye looks like a bag of fluid. Do I need to go back to the Dr? And report this.

hello,thanks for your query, erythromycin as such ,used in in infections. might be your eye lid infection could be due to some other infection. kindly evaluate with eye surgeon. hope i ahve answered your query. all the best. take care.
