General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello.
Welcome to HCM.
This is Dr. Swarnava Dattagupta answering your query.

See, i-pill or emergency contraceptives work really well when taken within 72 hours of an unprotected sex to avoid unwanted pregnancy. In fact, it has a failure rate of only about 3%. So, it should be effective in avoiding pregnancy.
Next, abdominal pain, vomiting or loose stools may occur following intake of i-pill. Another chance is that you might be anxious and it results in loose stools. Nothing to worry. Take ofloxacin-ornidazole tablet if loose stools persist for 2 days.

Hope that was useful.
Regards
