Can Taking Logynon Pill Cause Heavy Periods?

hi my last 3 or 4 periods have had normal flow but have been much darker in colour-quite dark brown colour on tampon, period 3 could have been affected by taking Logynon which i stopped taking after one cycle which could be affecting my current period? Do i need to worry?
