Can Taking Losartan Cause Dizziness?

I fell better when I don t take my losartan blood pressure meds changing my diet but my sister passed away this month from a stroke and my blood pressure got bad again so I started taking it again and it makes me dizzy and have a dry cough I also take hydrochloride with losartan

Hi,

Losartan lowers BP and does cause postural drop which is why you feel dizzy. I would advise you should check your BP if that's low you should stop taking it.

If BP is not low then we advise to take this drug just before bed and start low dose.

It's always good to consult your doctor about these drugs before starting.
