Can Taking Regestrone Pills Cause Any Side Effects?

Hi, I used regestrone pills for 15 days to postpone my periods for my marriage, 21st is my period date, I used regestrone from 16 th to 30th.. From 26th onwards me and my husband started intercourse.. On 4th of the next month I got periods but very light bleeding.. On the first day of my period some white tissue like layer got released.. It was the first time to see dat layer like that during my periods.. Is this due to taking regestrone pills? I was really freaked out n scared please answer to my question. And also before prescribing these regestrone pills to me my gynecologist made a ultrasound test n the reports are normal..s

No need to worry, you most probably are not pregnant

Detailed Answer :
As a physician I would like tell you that, you most probably are not pregnant because you had intercourse near the periods. Also take a UPT to be 100% sure that you are not pregnant.

Also, I would like to tell you that, there could be shedding of loose tissue of uterus endometrium due to tremendous amount of Hormonal quantities present in these pills. So you need not to worry about anything and you can clear your doubts net time you visit your Gynecologist.
