Can Taking Xarelto Cause Coughing And Bloody Sputum?

I have been taking Xarelto for 2 years for my Atrial Fibrilatiom. The past few months on 2 occasions within 3 months of each other) I have experienced bouts of sever coughing. The coughing has accompanied blood in the sputum. This has lasted for one day perhaps 3 to 4 times. My physician chkd for pneumonia via X-rays and it was negative for Pneumonia. Do you think the Xraleto could be attributed to taking Xarelto on a daily basis?

Hello

Yes the possibility of Xarelto causing blood with cough could not be denied.
But if the the cough is severe and harsh that can itself cause mild stains of blood with sputum. So its advisable to consult a pulmonologist before reaching to any conclusion.
