Can Taking Citalopram Cause Problems In Sperm Leading To Risk In Fetus While Trying To Concieve?

My husband and I are trying to get pregnant. He is taking citalopram, and I am concerned that his sperm will have side effcts that will affect the fetus. I have tried to research, but I am not sure the right questions to ask. What if it causes brain/physical damage to the fetus.

citalipram is not known to have any effects on the sperm. I am not aware of any reason why he should stop taking it if you are trying to conceive. I wish you much success in your attempt to have a baby! good luck!
