Can Taking Loseasonique Lead To Increased Spotting?

I started taking loseasonique in december. I am almost finished my first 3 month pack. i had some spotting from february 1-15 and we started having sex again. We had sex earlier today and now i'm bleeding. It doesn't look like normal vaginal bleeding, but it's bright red as if i just cut my hand or something. Maybe it's rough sex, but maybe it's my birth control making my lining weak. Or maybe it's something else... please help?
