am 31, never been pregnant, and have just been diagnosed with a progesterone shortage (testosterone dominate. I was prescribed 100mg of natural progesterone sublingual 23 days a month (off the 5 days of my period.) My doctor said that my cortisol levels were very high, and that I need to reduce my stress level. I feel 1 million times better after only 4 days of treatment. My question is this: If I get my stress level down, and take the progesterone as directed, should I start ovulating again? I hope to have children eventually, and I want to be healthy. I don't want to have to go through fertility drugs. My doctor said that I will most probably start ovulating normally again, but I have read so much on the internet that says progesterone will prevent you from ovulating. I'm so confused!
