Can Taking Pain Medicine For Many Years Cause Mercury Poisoning?

Can taking pain medincine for many years cause mercury poisioning? I have burning and numbess bil-laterally in feet. I have seen many Docs including neurologist. I have been diagnosed with sensory peripheral neuropathy. This is ruining my life. I have taken hydrocodone for about twenty years for pain.
