Can Taking Steroids Cause Headache?

I have been taking steriods for two months due to a inflamaiton of my ileum. My new doctor has indicated the steriods are not appropriate and is winding me off of them. I am down to one small pill a day now - but getting terrible headaches in the afternoon. Is this from the steriod change in perscriptions?
