Can Tampons Be Used While Having Chronic Kidney Stones?

Hi, I have chronic kidney stones and stent placement on 10/30/15, I underwent ESWL on 11/30/15, unsuccessfully. Then laser lithotrps. on 12/18/15. My urgent question: may I safely use tampons? Thank in advance. NEVERMIND, I CANNOT AFFORD TO PAY. THANKS ANYWAY.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Yes, tampons can be used in persons with a history of kidney stones.

The tampons would not affect the diagnosis or treatment of this condition.

They should be used appropriately to reduce the risk of infection.

I hope this helps
