Can Tea Tree Oil Be Used For Burning Sensation On The Scrotum?

I used Natural Nits Homeopathic formula to get rid of lice (crabs) on my body including my scrotum. After application scrotum become all red and tingly (burning sensation). I obviously had a bad reaction. The redness and burning has subsided. This happened 10 hours ago. Can I use Tea tree oil on my scrotum to heal? thanks.

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Burning sensation in the scrotum is generally due to inflammation of skin and underlying tissues. Hence, just applying oils superficially might not be fully beneficial.
It would be advisable for you to apply antifungal cram with steroid like Clotrimazole with Betamethazone to overcome this problem.
Take Tablet.Levocetirizine once a day to overcome itching sensation.
Take care to avoid friction in the area and wearing moist undergarments, as these could exaggerate the symptoms.
Maintain good personal hygiene.
