Can The Grade 2 Variocele Diagnosed By Scrotum Doppler Be Treated?

35 years old male, with sperm count of 0.05milli, underwent scrotum doppler test. The test shows grade 2 variocele in the left part. Please advise i this can be treated without surgery and how soon can it be treated with medications. I dont feel any major pain in the scrotum.

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have grade 2 varicocele.
Varicocele is result of incompetency of non returning valves present in these veins that prevent column of blood from falling down and there by cause dilatation of these veins (Varicocele)

There are no medicines that can cure incompetency of these valves

Since it leads to temperature imbalance in testis and thereby impair production of sperms (Spermatogenesis). It has to be treated by surgery of ligation of these dilated veins .This helps to improve spermatogenesis and sperm productionand increase sperm count.
