Can The Bowel Test Be A False Negative?

Hi my husband has been put on medformin for type 2 diabetes has been on them for several weeks last week attended celebration events and took alcohol which is rare he had stopped meds in case and has started them again but his stools are greenish black hes concerned as he has just done a bowel testand it came back negative hes concerned that the test must be wrong

I really appreciate your concern, it is nothing to worry as long as he stool color is concern but it should not be long last if this is so then it could be due to viral infection and still it is nothing to worry but anti-diabetes need to be continue on tight rule basis hope this information helps.
