Can The Date Of Conception Be Taken As Conclusive?

Results For: My wife is showig as being 10 weeks and 3 days pregnant. That makes the conception day the 7th of October. She was away in Viet Nam from the 10th of September until the 20th of October. We did not make love until about the 24th of October. Is there any chance the baby can be mine?

Hi Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...
Normally the conception dates that we get from ultrasound are very reliable. An error of 1 weeks earlier or later can be possible though.
For you being the father, there must be an error of 2 weeks or more in ultrasound conception date, which is highly unlikely or impossible. You should undergo a repeat ultrasound, to rule-out any doctors error. If the Conception dates still came the same, the baby should not be yours & you should undergo a paternity test

Hope this information helps
