Can The Loss Of Taste After A Knee Replacement Surgery Under Epidural Anesthesia Be Caused By The Anesthetic Drugs Or Steroid Doses Given?

Hi, I have lost my sense of taste almost completely after total knee replacement under epidural anaesthesia 3 weeks ago and so can’t eat well though I do feel hungry. I have rheumatoid arthritis and know I was given a booster steroid dose before the surgery and of course I had sedation with the spinal anaesthesia, can someone advise?
