Can The Medication Of Ovaa Shield In Combination With Scodia 500 Facilitate Pregnancy?

Hi Doctor, I am trying to conceive for past 1 1/2 yrs. My doctor found that i have PCOS. As part of treatment i reduced weight (from 69 to 55 kgs), done ovary drilling. I left my job in order to be free from stress. But still i am not able to conceive. This month i am taking ovaa shield in combination with Scodia 500. My doctor assured that i will be conceived in another 3 months, asked to be patient. Need some advice... Thanks xxxxx

Hi,

Yes, the prescribed medications facilitate pregnancy. Scodia-500 basically used in the treatment of type II diabetes. It helps in weight reduction, a decrease in serum androgens and ovulation (release of egg from the ovary). Ovaa Shield is used to induce egg production in women who are not able to ovulate. It should be taken in the dose of 50 mg table once a day at the same time from day 2 of the menstrual cycle for 5 days. Ovulation usually occurs 5-12 days after the last tablet.

If ovulation does not occur after the first course of therapy, a second course of 100 once a day for 5 days should be given. The best time to have intercourse is from 5 days after the last tablet (day 10 in the cycle) every other day for one week although it is recommended to have regular intercourse 2-3 times per week.
