Can The Same Antibiotics Be Continued For The Recurring Typhoid?
before one week before i had been tested s.typhi O as positive 1:160 and H as positive 1:80. and also total bilirubin 2.1mg/dl. for six days i took antibiotics now after re-test of blood now my current report tells O -1:160 & H -1:160. and total bilirubin 0.6mg/dl. now whether i should continue the same antibiotics or change.pls help me

The titer report of typhoid infection will remain same for 2 to 3months (vary depends on the severity of the infection) after the course of antibiotic treatment.
we should go with the symptoms and recommended dosage of antibiotics prescribed by the doctor.
If your free from fever,fatigue and associated symptoms you can stop the medication with consulting the your treating physician.
