Can The Small Raised Bump On Penis Be STD?

I have a small raised bump on my penis. It somewhat resembles a misquito bight as it is firm even when I am not erect. It appears to be whitish in color and the skin surrounding it seems to be slightly irritated. It is in the middle on the bottom. I'm 21 and have not been sexually active for about six months. I first noticed something about 3 months ago which seemed to be a pimple. I unwisely squeezed it and the area seemed to get irritated and infected. The irritation went down and it appears that a scaring occured. I noticed the bump arise again about a week ago. Again I started picking at it in nervous compulsion. Now it is irritated again. This has not interfered with my ability to obtain an erection. It is about a half a centimeter at most in diameter. I'm terrified that it's a tumor. I have a join medical account with my parents and don't want to go to the doctor in case this is related to an STD and want to maintain my privacy. WHAT IS THIS AND CAN I DO?

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem is most likely Fordyce spots or fungal infection. It is better to show your GP or dermatologist and confirm it. If it is Fordyce spots it is harmless. For that you can take more garlic and antioxidants. Applying tretinoin locally also will be helpful. If it is fungal infection then I advise ointments with combination of antifungal like miconazole and steroid like flucinolone. Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further queries.
I find this answer helpful
