Can The Soreness And Bruising Near Tailbone Be A Ruptured Cyst?

My Brother has 2 small holes near his tail bone and one which is like a cyst which burst last night. He is taking antibotics but the area is very bruised and still sore. He was told just to keep taking antibotics and it should settle. He is having salt baths and resting. What are the other two holes from ? Could they be past cysts that have already burst and they do not heal over?
