Can This Dosage Of Flonase, Afrin And Allegra Be Taken For Sinus Infection?

My 14 yr old sons ENT recommended to give him Flonase once daily 2 sprays per nostril and Afrin 2 times daily 2 sprays per nostril for 2 days. Is that to much at one time? I don t want him to get nose bleeds. Also recommended Allegra daily. She also said to use saline to keep moist. Thank you

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The prescribed doses are sufficient and necessary for the acute sinus infection control at the age of 14 years. Furthermore, these are the doses for current situation, as the condition comes under control, its dosage are reduced by the consultant. So, I recommend to adhere to your prescribed doses and do regular follow up with your consultant.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
