Can Tonsil Stones Be Seen By Using A Mirror?

Hi I recently went to my ent because ive been having tonsil stones. I just wanted to be sure that it wasnt something more serious. She didnt scope me but rather put a mirror down my throat. She said everything looked good. Im wondering how far down my throat she was able to see down my throat with that mirror?

hello, thanks for your query, with indirect laryngeal mirror she can able to see ur voice box, few cm of trachea,and starting of esophagus. related to tonsil stones( tonsillolyth) if it's infected u need to go for surgery. best way of prevention is post food consumption gargling with water,see to that food shouldn't stick to it.all the best. take care.
