Can Tonsils Cause Fever, Throat Pains With Dysphagia And Headaches?

Hey Hi Sir, I am having fever from past 3 days, sometimes even around 102F but after taking crocin, it comes back to normal, and yesterday, I felt throat ache also, with pain in eating the food + sneezing and headache and complete body pain, + today I found some swelling on my left side of the neck also. After reading the symptoms of tonsils from net, I found that they match exactly the same as mine. please tell me about the precautions that I should take, I am going to my family doctor today.
