Can Trapped Nerve Be Causing Pain In Chest And Popping Sensation?

HI There,

In the past few months i have been getting a pain in my chest bone where it pops/cracks sometimes, the bone inbetween my boobs where it dips. I have to wave my arms about to make it pop but into place to make it better. Just not sure why it is happening and what can be done to help it? It probably happening once maybe twice a week at the moment. I also have a trapped nerve in the bottom of my back due to carrying my daughter about. Please can you help?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Your chest symptoms are mostly costochondritis.
It is inflammation of ribs android cartilage.
It is not due to trapped nerves. It is also due to carrying your baby.
So follow these steps for better symptomatic relief.
1. Avoid heavyweight lifting and strenuous exercise.
2. Avoid forward bending and sudden jerky movements of chest.
3. Apply warm water pad on affected areas of chest.
4. Sit with proper back support.
5. Take simple painkiller and anti inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen or acetaminophen.
6. Wear rib belt to prevent mobilization.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
