17 yr old athletic male was careflight to hospital. Has a dilated ventrical and leaky back potassium was very low. Released and told to see specialist. Having insurance issues but is feeling bad and shortness of breath. Should he wait till financial comes through for dr
Treatment should not be delayed. Based on the history the aforementioned patient seems to be suffering congestive heart failure with a high risk of arrhythmia due to low potassium levels. He should be treated immediately in the hospital without waiting for the insurance formalities.
