Can Typhoid Fever Re-occur While On Antibiotics?

My wife was diognosed Typhoid fever and after 7 days of antibiotic treatments given at hospital will be discharged tomorrrrow.My queries are -1 can thie fever reoccur rthough she will take all prescribed medicines.2 Are my 13 years old children and agred 80 years old father suffering from lung disease - ( he was hospitalised recently for pneumunia) and have low immunity at any risk catching this from her?

Hi,
Typhoid will be alright after proper treatment with proper duration of course and taking proper care of diet there is less chance of recurring this disease.
Typhoid is not infectious disease so risk of typhoid is less likely provided proper care for hygiene maintained like no contamination of food with fingers, nails of diseased person from which infection is likely spreading through stool.
