Can U Suggest Me Remedy To Remove My Antibiotic Capsule Stuck In Throat?

I have had a capsule of antibiotic doxcycyoline lodged in my throat for the past 12 hours. Have tried drinking lot of liquids both cold and hot and various foods (i.e. crackers, apples, grits) anything that I could think of that would be heavy enough to push the capsule down. Also tried to burping and even sticking my finger down my throat to gag in hopes to vomit it out. Still have had no success, please help.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, thanks for the query.

Capsule can't be lodged in throat for 12 hrs , since capsule melt as soon as taken at body temperature. Doxycycline has a side effect of esophagitis in some people , which result in Foreign body sensation in throat.

Stop doxycycline , use some antacid solution. Meet your treating doctor for change of antibiotic.
