Can Unprotected Anal Sex Cause STD?

I had sexed with a male in the age of 17 to 24, I have inserted my Penis in his Anus several Times, with out any precaution , are their any chances of getting AIDs or Sexually trans mitted Dieases .
Currently my Age is 31 Yrs, Medically I am fit , I am not having any issues till date, nor I was hospitalised till date for any reason .

After unprotected intercourse there is high likelihood of getting STD(Sexually Transmitted Disease) including HIV infection if your partner is infected with the same even if he is apparently well.The chance is more with Anal sex. Even after infection with HIV(Virus causing AIDS) you can apparently be as healthy as before for a period of 10 to 20 yrs depending on several factors.Same is the true for Hepatitis B infection although latent period may be shorter. In your case there is little chance of other infections as 7 years have already passed without any symptoms. I would suggest you to visit nearby physician and get blood tests done at least for these two infections as these are potentially harmful. Hope I have been able to answer your queries.
