Can Unprotected Oral Intercourse Cause A Bump On The Tongue?

Hello. I've had a swollen bump just below the surface in the middle of my tongue for a few days now. There is a slight dark hint to the surface above. It is a little sensitive, but mostly I'm worried about what it is. I've had unprotected oral sex in the past, and am wondering if this may have caused it.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, thank you.

The lesion you are having may or may not be related to oral sex. It may also be a benign condition called ranula which is common on floor of the mouth.
