Oraldene has ingredient hexetidine and alteration of taste is one of the side effects of this. The symptoms can also occur due to accumulation of mucous in sinuses and leads to blockage of nose as the sinuses drains through nose or throat infection. I would suggest you to take steam inhalation three times a day. You should take proper course of antibiotics along with anti-inflammatory medications and take decongestant nasal sprays as it will relief stuffy nose. Do nasal saline rinses and maintain hygiene.
