Can Using Pitocin While BP Was High Cause Severe Pitting Edema In Feet?

My daughter has severe pitting edema in her feet after childbirth it has been 9 days since birth. She was given an epideral, which stopped her conractions, then pìtocin to restart them. She was also given iv after becase they thought that she was dehydrated. Turns out she was not dehydrated. She had an epidreal headache and they finally fixed that with a blood patch. Thru all this she had also been given some morphine and also tylenol to deal with this post partum headache. Horror strory hey! I feel that the edema may be caused from them using pitociñ when her blood pressure was already quite high. Is this a possibility?

HI
Well come to HCM
If this is happened after the childbirth then certain systemic condition need to be ruled out like, cardiac disease, low hemoglobin, renal infection, electrolyte imbalanced, in my opinion attention need to be paid toward this symptom, hope this information helps, take care, have a nice day.
