Can Using Meth Cause Red, Pus Filled Bumps On Body?
Myself and two of my roommates have been doing meth for several months and nothing like this has showed up before bu5 we will have the smallest cut or red bump that looks like an ingrown hair and if we scratch or pick or try and pop the area and the next day its worse and larger and either that same day or the day after it will be filled with pus and they won t heal. A few of mine have healed but others are getting worse and really deep when the scan peels off.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of red, pus filled bumps on body which seems hair follicles become inflamed leading to folliculitis.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to keep that area clean dry and avoid itching or pricking rashes. You should wear loose clothes. You should apply a moist washcloth or compress and apply soothing lotions. You should gently wash the infected skin twice a day with antibacterial soap. Take diet rich in fluids. Consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may prescribe medications accordingly.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
