Can Uterine Fibroids Cause Heavy Menstrual Bleeding?

I am 48. As I near my periods my stomach becomes very thick. I have been having cramps in my lower abdomen last three days. When I sit down I can feel something inside my abdomen. My periods are usually very heavy for three days...am always anaemic. my last ultrasound showed I had a thicken endometrium, bulky uterus, with two small fibroids.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, what the pain or cramp you have could be due to the menses and it may be due to change in hormone level and it is nothing to take anything with the imaging finding hope this information helps.
I find this answer helpful
