Can Vaginal Bleeding Be Related To Norethindrone Intake In Woman Post A C Section?
I had a c section and I m 6 weeks postpartum. I started taking norethindrone tablets usp 0.35 mg exactly one week ago. I started light cardio today which was walking 1 mile today. I have not had my period since having the baby. I started vaginal bleeding today like a period but I m worried that maybe the mile walk was too much. Could it be the medicine? I m not in any pain.

Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Bleeding can occur 6 months post caesarean and this is normal.
However, exercise after a long interval can also induce periods.
Moreover, if you are taking norethindrone tablets continuously, bleeding cannot occur due to it.
If you leave the tablets in between, then the bleeding can occur.
